The International Wire & Cable Symposium and Conference takes place for the 63rd time, this year in Providence, RI. The latest technologies in product design, materials, applications and processes are presented in a symposium format from November 9th to the 12th. [IWCS](http://www.iwcs.org/) is an important venue for the cable and connectivity industry. Maillefer is proud to join the panel of experts in bringing technical content to the conference. Dr. Mikko Lahti will present his paper entitled "Achieving ultra-high speeds of polypropylene buffering for   
stranded loose tubes using nonlinear modelling ", on Tuesday November 11 in session 6: Wire and cable processing. He will be available during the whole conference to discuss the results of his work and the manufacturing solutions currently available.
