What opportunities lie ahead for single layer PEX or multi-layer composite pipes? Within our portfolio of extrusion lines, we include a series of improvements introduced throughout a long history of supplying customers. What were first special options have become standard on newer lines.

Alongside the Low energy pipe dryer3 and the Inline adhesion monitoring9 value packages first presented in the spring edition of this magazine, we now have selected three more to highlight from the more than a dozen available.

#### Enhanced calibration process4

Ensure constant diameter and product cooling thanks to a tight control of water supply pressure. Maintain quality regardless of sudden demands in water usage from neighboring lines and factory installations. With enhanced calibration, targeted diameters are reached faster and higher process capability indexes (Cpk) are attainable. The waterflow is constantly monitored and adjusted to the requested values by the system’s controls. This is available for all of the Heating & Plumbing lines delivered today.
