Long Run Value Package

By utilizing reliable line components and avoiding pre-cross-linking in the extrusion process, you can achieve long cable production lengths. It is particularly true in subsea cable production, where minimizing the number of joints is essential.

Would you like to reduce the number of factory joints in your submarine cable production and minimize the CV line insulation process down time?

More than a 100 ton continuous runs

We have proven in several actual cable production runs that you can run continuously more than 100 tons of insulation compound in a CV line.

What you get

Adoption of the Long Run Value Package increases your continuous production length. Also, you eliminate insulation compound waste and line stoppages, which can last up to two weeks.

  • Through correct screw and crosshead design, plus proper extrusion conditions, you avoid PE oxidation in the extruder and crosshead
  • Avoid melt pressure build up by operating without screens
  • Produce full-length cable through melt control and reliable line components
