Maillefer Novelties at Wire 2014 – Hall 10 – Booth D21

Have you booked your tickets to Wire & Tube 2014 already? This year, the shows are especially important for us. It is the place where our new market concept is launched. There will also be changes in our portfolio, and several new products will be launched. One of the novelties is our brand new value package offering.

Value Packages are add-on modules to your current production lines. You can boost your line performance and productivity with pre-optimized solutions that are easy to adopt with minimized production stoppage. First, we introduce value packages for low, medium, high and extra high voltage cable production as well as for building wire and fiber optic cable production.

Long Run Value Package

Adoption of the Long Run value package increases your continuous production length. This is especially true in subsea cable production, where minimizing the number of joints is essential. Also, you eliminate shutdown scrap and downtime.

Clean Run Value Package

While your material suppliers provide clean XLPE insulation compounds, with our Clean Run value package these compounds are kept clean. In fact, they are made even cleaner through the material conveyance from the package to the extruder.

High Output Screw Value Package

If you want higher throughput and improved temperature control, a newly designed screw could be the answer. In addition, compared to previous generation of Maillefer’s extruders, you will enjoy an increase of PVC, XLPE (silane co-polymers) and PE of up to 15 – 20%.
