Maillefer has just returned from this year's Chinaplas, which took place in the southern city of Guangzhou. First off, we would like to thank our visitors who made the stop to our booth, located on the Swiss pavilion. Our colleague from Shanghai, Jeffrey Sun, met with them in the best of conditions, both on the stand and later, during the official Swiss reception.
Meetings lined-up without stop throughout the 4-days. Mr. Sun reports that the accent was primarily for projects on automotive fuel tube and blown fiber micro-duct production. Interest was also expressed for heating & plumbing pipe, micro-drip irrigation and off-shore flexibles. The word is that Maillefer offers complete, single-sourced extrusion solutions having a clear technical advantage.
