Maillefer has added another crosshead equipped with automatic centering to its product family. Welcome the ACC 12/16. This advanced system supports a product range from 2 to 12 mm and achieves concentricity levels of up to 97% or more - an otherwise challenging task without automation.
The automation level eliminates the time-consuming manual adjustments of four centering bolts. An intelligent, servo motor-powered auto-centering mechanism revolutionizes the process. It offers two modes: manual and automatic. In manual mode, operators use a joystick for precise adjustments, while in automatic mode, the system operates in closed-loop control, continuously taking live measurements and making real-time corrections. This ensures optimal concentricity, resulting in even wall distribution and minimal thickness variation.
