The KWB is an automatic dual coiler/ reeler engineered to wind tube onto Maillefer stainless steel turrets for self-supported coils or onto customer reels. It especially responds well to wind medical tube but also excels with small diameter tubes and specialty tubes.
The transfer from a full to an empty reel is done automatically and at full production speed. A low-tension controlled accumulating dancer assures a smooth and reliable transfer. Operator concerns were addressed with a safe, ergonomic, and compact KWB design.
The KWB handles small diameter tubes from 1 to 14 mm for a variety of applications, notably medical tubes in more demanding work environments. KWB complements a tube extrusion line with its high speed, reliability, and repeatability features.
