The current pandemic continues to change how businesses operate. Measures limit interactions. Our lives are impacted daily. After the first encouraging signs toward a return to the norm, a second wave of cases leaves us uncertain about what lies ahead.
Maillefer recently decided not to participate at the wire 2020 venue scheduled this December in Düsseldorf. Soon after, Messe Düsseldorf, cancelled the entire event and announced the next edition for 2022.
Safety for all is our first priority. The unforeseeable conditions do not allow us to envision secure and safe exhibition environments for our visitors and our multi-disciplined team. We recognize the considerable safety measures put in place. However, the crisis is in constant evolution. The health risks in the coming future remain unknown.
Maillefer has long anticipated wire 2020. Our team has shown growing excitement for this key industry event. Even with a setback in plans, we feel there are opportunities to present and share the latest Maillefer innovations in equipment, process optimization, smart intelligence solutions, and life cycle services. Expect to learn more about these new offerings soon, both through media interaction and through novel face-to-face mini-events.
We believe that innovation and progress will always take precedence. It is expressed through the many ways people choose to meet and interact. We look forward to greeting you again in the very near future.
