Once more Shanghai hosted the Chinese cable industry as well as many other international players. The exhibition was more international than ever before. Many familiar faces visited from the neighboring countries, but also extensively from the South East Asia region in general. We received more than 400 visitors from about 200 different companies, institutes and partners.

Maillefer engineers were very eager to present their prototype automatic dual coiler at last fall’s K 2013 show, and with due cause. Since the introduction of blown (or air-jetted) fiber technologies via micro-ducts, Maillefer has been at the forefront of providing specific solutions to a small group of manufacturers who believed in micro-duct’s future. Now with demand growing so does the requirement for increased production performance and capacity.
