MXI Extruders

The MXI family is our most recent generation air-cooled extruders for power cable manufacturing. The extruders have extrusion qualities like our famous water-cooled NXW series. With the growing demand for thermoplastic extrusion, the MXI series expands into a larger range, with extruders from 80 to 200 mm, for insulation or semicon, either air or water-cooled, depending. Two models are proposed for semicon: both 80 mm and 100 mm machines with a 20 L/D ratio. For insulation extrusion, Maillefer proposes 150, 175, and 200 mm air-cooled MXI at 24 L/D.
