With the growing demand for thermoplastic extrusion, the new MXI series expands the range, with extruders from 80 to 200 mm, for insulation or semicon.

 

MXI Extruders

 

The MXI family is our most recent generation air-cooled extruders for power cable manufacturing. The extruders have extrusion qualities like our famous water-cooled NXW series. With the growing demand for thermoplastic extrusion, the MXI series expands into a larger range, with extruders from 80 to 200 mm, for insulation or semicon, either air or water-cooled, depending. Two models are proposed for semicon: both 80 mm and 100 mm machines with a 20 L/D ratio. For insulation extrusion, Maillefer proposes 150, 175, and 200 mm air-cooled MXI at 24 L/D.
