PXL 32 with ultra-thin EVOH

This most recent version of the PXL line is designed for producing ultra-thin, low mol%, EVOH multi-layer pipe. It is a extrusion line for production of PEX-b or PE-RT pipes where the EVOH acts as an oxygen barrier.

Thanks to a flexible extrusion head configuration, PEX-b and PE-RT pipes can be produced in 5, 3 or even single layer with the same basic equipment, resulting in a large coverage of applications. Co-extrusion through the five-layer head protects the EVOH flow from water exposure, provides excellent bonding of the five layers and ensures quality notably with ultra-thin EVOH.
