The wire show in Shanghai was a success for the Maillefer team. We met nearly all our existing and several new potential customers from China. We also hosted a number of customers from other parts of Asia who were interested in getting familiar with the latest technology in W&C manufacturing.
Our core theme “Competence that counts” – launched already at wire 2016 in Düsseldorf this April – was carried on in Shanghai. The theme is based on our long background in the W&C industry and proven track record in extrusion technology and processes. Several W&C manufacturing standards are innovations from Maillefer which proves that we have always emphasized customer driven R&D.
We received confirmation for the chosen path from visiting customers and competitors as so many said: “Modern extrusion technology originates from Maillefer. And it still is the leader in research and development by continuously bringing improved products and processes to the market”.
This is our way of constantly moving forward. Maillefer is not only an equipment supplier but a customer oriented cable manufacturing process expert. Our goal is to develop and improve our customers’ competitiveness. And we are determined to continuously broaden our know-how based offering under Maillefer Consultation.
