Wire 2014 was a success for Maillefer. The number of visitors exceeded all expectations and different market areas around the world were well represented. We are also very happy with the outcome comercially and in terms of interactions.
Some highlights worth citing. Our new market concept with three production solution levels /Enter, //Extend, and ///Explore, was introduced. The concept improves our possibilities to serve Wire & Cable and Pipe & Tube manufacturers with different capacity needs and investment budgets.

Furthermore all energy applications – low, medium and high voltage – got topmost attention. The new components; automatic dual take-up, EKP 8 for low voltage and fiber optic cable production and the dual-layer rubber crosshead DHR 130 for more material efficient rubber cable production, plus many more were well received.
