Our Super Steam Curing Calculation NSS is a recipe generator for the line control of Super Steam CV  lines (SSCV lines). By using a numerical simulation model, which contains heat transfer and cross-
linking kinetics, it optimizes the running conditions during cable production from start-up to shut-down. The calculated production parameters include line speed, tube heating zone temperatures, extruder outputs and screw speeds.

In time for the Holidays, Maillefer in Switzerland renewed the tradition of a center reserved for R&D excellence. Glasses were raised to toast the ribbon cutting ceremony, which was officiated by Lars Fagerholm - CEO, Félix Ferreiro - VP Pipe & Tube Business Line, and Philippe Moeschler - Operations Director, and included a demonstration of micro-drip irrigation lateral production.

A Service Level Agreement with Maillefer is in vigor at Estralin High Voltage Cable LLC in Russia. During a recent SLA visit, we gave the customer's equipment a maintenance check and gave their management a series of recommendations to improve performance. Since then, several actions have been undertaken. Estralin now requests additional support as they prepare for the upcoming bi-annual visit.

Entitled Operating and innovating through the life cycle of Vulcanization line, the seminar served to increase awareness on the latest developments in technology and service from Maillefer. It was held in Cairo, Egypt on October 21, 2015 and united customers from Egypt and the Middle East region.
